Opinion On President Tinubu’s Economic Advisory Committee

Does it make sense to entrust carcass in the care of vultures?. These two are giants on the Nigerian economy and business landscape. They didn't make their money by being kind to Nigerians. Would they recommend policies that could dent their dominance?.

Their business interests and those of Nigerian economy are mutually exclusive in my view. Dangote and BUA planned to increase the bag of cement to N15K. They then agreed to sell btwn N6K and N7K when the government threatened to open the gates for cement import.

The idea may be laudable, but the choice of 'actors' is ill-judged.

I find it funny that Mr President does not see any other Nigerians among over 220 Million Nigerians to form this committee with.

This shows there is no future for Ordinary Nigerians , graduates, civil Servants and Technocrats who are still struggling to survive and has the best interest of Nigeria at heart , The rich get richer while the poor get poorer in Nigeria.

Capitalists will never give Any advise that will serve against its solely horrific money making interest, take it or leave it that's the reality of it.

An economy team with dangote & co Billionaires on board, that team is bound not to save this country these people the bug underneath, eaten deep into the nations resources over the years, dangote success story can't be said without the special treatment, wavers & soft landing he has enjoyed from both past and present govt over potential competitors, such personality that is of his interest shouldn't be on any govt economy team...

President Olusegun Obasanjo didn't have Dangote on his economy team that revive the economy of this nation, president Olusegun Obasanjo was able to assemble Nigerians in & outside of the country to make up his economy and they deliver, Elumelu wasn't on that team, so, these personalities might even become anti-progress to the economy team.
