During Obasanjo's Tenure's OBJ's home boy Gani Adam's OPC started Mayhem in SW before being Arrested & quietened. OBJ flattened Vvllages & declared a State of Emergency in Plateau, due to Religious, Sectarian & Ethnic Clashes all over the place
Mohammed Yusef started Boko Haram in NE in 2002. If that wasn't enough MASSOB started their own in SE until Uwazuruike was arrested & pacified. Then Niger Delta Militants began to Kidnap Threaten & Destroy Oil Wells in the Niger Delta. Many suspected most of these agitations were politically motivated & may have led OBJ to support a SS VP instead of SE.
When Yaradua came his own Northern Brother Sekau in revenge for the elimination of their leader Yusuf in 2009 radicalised, started kidnapping, killing & ransaking towns unchecked, they preparing to unleash more mayhem & terror on Johnathan
Yaradua had to give Amnesty to Niger Delta Militants pacifying Dokubo & others or they would make Nigeria ungovernable.
There were a series of ongoing ethnic conflicts all over the North from Kaduna, Benue, Taraba, Plateau etc Nigerian Suicide bombers started under Yaradua with the Infamous Abdulmutallab underwear pants bomber that caught fire & failed to explode I wonder how his balls are lol 😃😂😀
When Goodluck was on seat after quietening Niger Delta Avengers & MEND Warlords from SS, he couldn't contain Boko Haram & ISIS backed ISWAP. If that wasn't enough IPOB took up the battle abandoned by MOSSAB to start mayhem in SE claiming margionalisation having been sidelined for the Presidency in favour of a SS President
Boko Haram with reckless abandon taking Kidnapping to another level captured numerous local Govts & declared their own Caliphates in the NE. Nigeria became Synonymous for Religious Intolerance, Terrorism & Kidnapping some say this was all orchestrated to get rid of GEJ
GEJ's Presidency will.be remembered for the UN building Abuja & Nyanya bombings & Chibok girls
When Buhari was on Seat Boko Haram, Bandits, AK47 weilding Fulani Herdsmen from his Northern Constituency showed him sege , So much for Northern Jihadists welcoming their Fulani brother. The Insecurity in Nigeria especially in the North continued & metamorphosed into something else. Some falsely insist it is part of an ongoing agenda to Islamicize & Fulanise Nigeria.
Nigerians gave PMB victory as a Rtd Gen to solve our Insecurity problems yet Insecurity in the North spread from NE expanding in NC & NW. Ensuring PMB goes down as one of the most polarising presidency's though he significantly degraded the capacity of Boko Haram, some of whom have joined the fastest growing criminal industry of Kidnapping for Ransome, thankfully Shekau is no more.
After the arrest of IPOB's Self Proclaimed Supreme Leader Namdi Kanu, IPOB was proscribed as a Terrorist Organisation, MNK then jumped bail claiming to be escaping for his Life from the Military.
From the safety of UK he unleached his IPOB/ESN/BNG/UGM masquerading as Biafra Freedom Fighters to Self Inflicted Destruction of Ala Igbo Lives & Properties making SE a virtual No Go Area where people are Subjugated by Threat of Force, Fear & Treats to Lives, Limbs & Property to Sit At Home Mondays Thankfully towards the end of PMB's tenure and the 2023 elections the Killings & destruction by IPOB/ESN/BNG/UGM subsided possibly in anticipation of MNK's release.
If that was not enough Sunday Igboho a known Political Thug, Smuggler & Self Proclaimed Generalisimo of the Yoruba Nation emerged to defend SW from a supposed Fulani Invasion supposedly authorised by PMB in responses to the killing of Dr Fatai Aborode by Fulani Herdsmen in Igangan, Ibarapa Oyo state alleging it was part of a Fulani Invasion.
Igboho managed to escape from arrest through Benin Rep to Germany in Exile evading Arrest by combination of Police & DSS who sort to Arrest him on various alledged Offences including possession of illegal Fire Arms & Ammunition without licence, Resisting Arrest interalia.
Proponents of the Fulani Invasion theory & Yoruba Nation Separatist Agitation do not mention that Govr Makinde confirmed Dr Aborode's murder was s politically motivated killing. Dr Abrode was a popular former Accord Party Hse of Rep candidate.
Many accuse Buhari of failing Miserably with communication & giving a green light to marauding AK47 weilding Herdsmen with his RUGA policy & stance in favour of Open Grazing an Archaic practice which should be ended.
Govr Ortom had a long standing Acrimonious battle with Buhari in respect of this specific issue blaming Buhari for Insecurity in Benue. However it didn't endear him to his voters.
Zamfara, Katsina, Benue, Katsina & Plateau & much of the SE were all in flames during PMB's tenure, A series of Jail breaks & numerous growing security challenges including Dapchi girls rocked his Presidency.
Now Pres Tinubu is on seat has Insecurity abated? Ansa No. Wanton Slaughter by Nigerians & foreigner on Nigerians continue along with the kidnapping trade, which is in every region now.
PBAT's tenure started with a baptism of fire with a series of killings in NC Benue, Plateau, Niger & Kaduna & Kidnappings
Trouble is brewing again in SS as Oil Bunkering is on the increase 17 Soldiers murdered in Okuoma Delta state & 6 Police in a separate Incident. The perpetrators must be brought to book.
MNK remains in detention, having been refused bail & facing trial. Nigerians are anticipating it's outcome as Justice delayed is Justice Denied.
Some Insist MNK's matter should be settled politically, but what will be the message to any new upstart who wants to Scatta9ja don't worry make enough destruction & Yanga then they will Settle you. God Forbid bad thing. What about the lives & Livelihoods of those lost & destroyed by MNK's orders & actions. IPOB has started killing & ransaking again.
Some see Igboho's return to Nigeria unchallenged at point of entry with an outstanding warrant for his arrest as double standards. Others expect that he will be quiet now that he is back and keep.his head down low but it appears he didn't get the memo. What are SSS & DSS doing about Igboho? I raised this point when he was allowed to return for his mother's burial.
Yesterday there was an attack by armed Yoruba Nation Separatist Agitators on the Oyo State Secretariat in Ibadan accompanied by an Oduduwa Republic Independence Announcement online on Yoruba Nation Outlets
Thankfully the motley crew of armed Agitators in Oduduwa Nation Military Uniform.with Native Protection were no match for our Gallant Nigerian Military & Security Officers who dealt with them decisively. The PBAT govt shouldn't handle this matter with levity like the founder of Boko Haram or how IPOB was handled.
It is Nigerians who are first to destroy Nigeria. Why is it that persons from the place of any Nigerian President are always first to Start Violent Agitations when one of their own is on the seat. There is something seriously wrong with us. It doesn't add up.
If the returned Oduduwa Nation Generalisimo Igboho, who famously stated on record; if it is guns (Iban) you need he can source it for you, is in anyway culpable or complicit in this crazy action in Ibaan he should be apprehended immediately before he absconds back to Germany, to answer questions and face the full weight of the law to avoid SW descending like other Regions.
Truth be told SW remains the safest region in Nigeria and the most prosperous. It appears some want it to burn. We must be alert to Avert any such catastrophe.
Thankfully 100's of Kidnap victims have been released, though Govt said it is not giving ransome, there us no word on the fait of these Kidnappers. But numerous Bandit hideouts have been ransacked & Bandit Kingpins been Eliminated.
We shall continue to watch PBAT's Govt and give Constructive Criticism and Wholehearted Support where warranted, what's your view?
