Today , To Commemorate the International Women's Day with the 2024 theme, Invest in Women, Accelerate Progress and the campaign theme, Inspire Inclusion, I will be speaking on the Topic, Gender Inclusiveness, Women Must Be Deliberate* to the Civil Defence Officers Wives association in Ondo State.
I grew up all my life to watch my mom who was an officer lived a fulfilled life. I saw beneath the success that was visible to all, a strong, resilient, hardworking, prudent, accommodating and exceptional woman who stood against all odds to achieve all her aspirations. Using her life as an example, I will be dissecting the topic.
To get included in all facets of life, we must be deliberate. In our pursuits of success and progress, there will always be antagonism, ridicule, mockery, oppression and outright rejection, but what will always stood the outstanding women out is their ability to blaze through the furnace and like a refined gold emerge brighter like a shinning star they truly are.
