If I'm Deathless Or Immortal, What Will I Do Differently 🤔

We learn from the Vedic scriptures about the conditioning modes of material nature. Just another one crucial lesson above the ordinary knowledge that western theology offers us.

The knowledge of the three modes of nature and the multiplicity of their ever interwoven connections is actually the quantum mechanics of spiritual knowledge.

The conditioning modes of passion and ignorance make us believe a whole lot of paradigm that does not really exist. But for our believe in that which is not, Maya, we should all be making haste to get out of this material dungeon.

Now back to the question for today. If I really knew very well and convinced of my eternity as a soul are there things I would dare to do which I will cringe at the thought right now.

Will my priorities change as a result 🤔 What makes me think I am earthbound even when I see everyone exiting this place.

*Ignorance!*

Arjuna cringed at the thought of killing his kinsmen and worse still counter attacking arrows with men worthy of his worship like his beloved grandfather Bhishma or his Guru, Dronacarya.

But when Krishna enlightened him with the knowledge of the soul, telling him,

_*For the soul there is never birth nor death. Nor, having once been, does he ever cease to be. He is unborn, eternal, ever-existing, undying and primeval. He is not slain when the body is slain*._

Arjuna's vision changed.

*arjuna uvāca*

*naṣṭo mohaḥ smṛtir labdhā*

*tvat-prasādān mayācyuta*

*sthito ’smi gata-sandehaḥ*

*kariṣye vacanaṁ tava*

_Arjuna said: My dear Kṛṣṇa, O infallible one, my illusion is now gone. I have regained my memory by Your mercy. I am now firm and free from doubt and am prepared to act according to Your instructions._

Srila Prabhupada also kindled this awareness in the heart of so many people and just as Arjuna did, many also gave up all other considerations and surrendered to Krishna.

What's happening today🤔 The depth of the réalisation is missing and the conviction of our eternity is giving way in the presence of alluring material prospects.

Where are the Pilgrims on the journey back Home, back to Godhead 🤔
