Commitment to Rural-Urban Renewal Continues with Extensive Infrastructure Development


Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has greenlit the construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation, and interlocking of 71 new road projects as part of his administration’s ambitious rural-urban renewal initiative aimed at enhancing infrastructure and connectivity across Kwara State.


This in line with the governor’s commitment to significantly improving the state’s road network, which is crucial for economic growth and accessibility. These new projects are set to commence shortly, reflecting the administration’s proactive approach to development.


In addition to these newly approved projects, the state government is making significant strides on 42 road projects that were previously approved and are currently underway. This extensive construction effort is part of a broader strategy to modernize the state’s infrastructure, thereby facilitating smoother transportation and boosting local economies.


Over the past year, Governor AbdulRazaq’s administration has successfully completed the construction, reconstruction, rehabilitation, and interlocking of 75 road projects. This achievement marks a notable milestone in the governor’s rural-urban renewal plan, demonstrating tangible progress in enhancing the quality of life for residents and fostering economic development.
